Job Opportunity: Manager / Assistant Manager - CAT / Treaty Modelling

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage a team and ensure efficient catastrophe modelling process.

  • Manage a team of 5-6 members to guarantee the accuracy of our catastrophe models.
  • Develop high-quality risk assessments for individual accounts or portfolios based on provided data.
  • Prioritize high-risk locations to maximize business outcomes.
  • Analyze data, format, and arrange it in a manner understood by the model.
  • Maintain exposure databases and evaluate the accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Support underwriters in queries, exposure movement year-over-year.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for process enhancement and improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Cat modeller/Treaty modeller experience preferably with an insurance/reinsurance background is required.

  • AIR touchstone, SQL, MS office proficiency are essential skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to manipulate Excel files are necessary.
  • Good problem-solving skills and insurance certification/projects in dissertation are desirable.
  • Advance Excel/VBA programming language is required.
  • Team management skills are crucial for success.
