Key Roles for Data Excellence

Data quality and integrity are paramount in today's digital landscape. As a Data Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data pipelines across platforms.

This role requires strong expertise in data governance, data management principles, and data quality practices to establish trusted data foundations that drive business intelligence, analytics, and operational reporting.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with data owners to enforce data definitions, classifications, and data quality rules. Additionally, they will perform data profiling, issue identification, and remediation coordination.

  • Develop and maintain metadata, business glossary, and data catalog entries in data governance tools like Collibra or similar.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to support PII tagging, data masking, and access governance.
  • Provide training and support to business users in using governance tools effectively.
  • Define data quality metrics and monitor data quality performance against established targets.

To excel in this position, you will need 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Operations of Data Governance, along with hands-on experience with data management tools and technical skills in SQL, Python/Java, and REST APIs for tool integration and automation.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, and data classification practices.
  • Experience with data catalogs, MDM systems, and data quality platforms.
  • Technical skills in SQL, Python/Java, and REST APIs for tool integration and automation.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
