About the Role

This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to build and nurture a dynamic online community, drive brand awareness, and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute event strategies to engage professionals and foster a sense of belonging within the community.
  • Curate and create engaging content relevant to the community, moderating discussions to ensure a positive and constructive environment.
  • Plan, organize, promote, and execute a series of online events (e.g., webinars, workshops, virtual conferences), managing all aspects from concept to post-event analysis.
  • Implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support community growth.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with key industry influencers to amplify our message, expand reach, and drive community participation.
  • Liaise with speakers for both online and offline events, managing schedules, content requirements, and logistics.
  • Analyze market trends and community insights to identify new opportunities. Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies specifically tailored for online events.
  • Collect and analyze community feedback, providing insights to internal teams for product/service improvement. Report on community growth, engagement metrics, and event performance.
  • Cultivate brand advocates within the community, empowering them to promote our initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven 3+ years experience in community management, social media management, and online event management.
  • Demonstrable success in building and engaging online communities.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
  • Experience with influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially for event planning.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Experience with virtual event platforms is a plus.
