Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist

The position involves delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological care to patients, utilising advanced skills and knowledge in managing complex cases.

This specialist role requires an individual with exceptional clinical expertise, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide empathetic patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality obstetric care, encompassing antenatal check-ups, fetal development monitoring, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
  • Managing gynaecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, fibroids, ovarian cysts, PCOS, infertility, pelvic infections, endometriosis, and performing related surgeries.
  • Engaging with patients and families to address fertility issues, offer reproductive health guidance, and facilitate treatment options.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Must possess an MS / DNB / MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from a recognised institution.
  • Hold valid registration with the National Medical Commission or State Medical Council.
  • Prioritize 3–10+ years of post-PG clinical experience for optimal seniority level alignment.
Desirable Skills & Competencies:
  • Clinical excellence in managing obstetric and gynaecologic cases.
  • Surgical proficiency in open and minimally invasive procedures.
  • Ability to handle critical emergencies and high-pressure situations.
  • Effective patient communication and counselling.
  • Strong teamwork and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record systems and documentation standards.
