We are seeking a seasoned data professional to lead the development of our self-service data platform for reporting and analytics.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in PySpark, Scala, SQL, Python, and Azure. Databricks experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data solutions using Databricks, SQL, Python, Spark, and Delta Lake on Azure.
  • Ensure best practices for ETL/ELT and data quality.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate data with tools like Tableau, Power BI, and APIs.
  • Manage CI/CD, testing, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring tools.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Experience with Databricks integrations like Delta Live Tables and Auto Loader.
  • Skilled in Spark, Pandas, and NumPy.
  • Passionate about building secure, scalable data solutions.
