Piping Design Director

The Piping Design Manager oversees the development of piping layouts, isometrics, support drawings, MTOs, and related documents ensuring designs comply with international codes and project specifications. This role involves leading a team of piping engineers and designers coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design deliverables.
- Leadership & Team Management
- The ideal candidate has 12–18 years of experience in piping design and engineering within EPC / Heavy Engineering / Process Plant industries with a minimum of 3–5 years in a managerial leadership role overseeing piping design teams.
- Design & Engineering Management
- A B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree is required hands-on expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is mandatory for overseeing detailed design work.
- Project Execution & Coordination
- Plan and monitor piping design activities schedules and budgets for assigned projects coordinating with Process Mechanical Civil Structural Instrumentation and Electrical teams.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and engineering best practices maintaining compliance with health safety and environmental HSE standards in all design activities.
- Continuous Improvement
- Exposure to large-scale projects in Oil Gas Power Chemical Fertilizer Refinery or Heavy Engineering is preferred.
A highly skilled professional with strong technical knowledge of piping design engineering and management principles who can lead a team drive technical excellence and capability development within the team.
