Technical Consultant for Oracle Agile PLM

A career as a technical consultant for Oracle Agile PLM offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, develop innovative solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deploy Process Extensions (PXs) utilizing Java for Oracle Agile PLM.
  2. Customize workflows, events, and triggers using the Agile Software Development Kit (SDK).
  3. Perform unit testing and provide support for functional testing.
  4. Ensure seamless data exchange and synchronization across enterprise systems, including SAP, Visual, and Enovia.
  5. Create detailed technical specifications for customizations and integrations.
  6. Provide ongoing support for Oracle Agile PLM applications and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  7. Maintain and review Oracle Application Configuration Setup (ACS) code and SDK-based customizations.
  8. Design and implement event scripts and Groovy scripts for workflow automation.
  9. Enhance Oracle Web Client UI usability by customizing it.
  10. Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements accurately.
  11. Recompile and redeploy existing PXs during version upgrades, ensuring smooth deployment across development, staging, and production environments.
  12. Utilize Oracle Import/Export tools, SDK, or direct database staging for bulk data loads or data updates.
  13. Validate migrated data for completeness and integrity.
  14. Analyze and resolve application errors related to custom PXs, integrations, or performance issues.
  15. Perform log analysis to investigate root causes.
  16. Optimize PXs, queries, and scripts to minimize execution time and impact performance positively.
  17. Assist in load testing for large-scale Oracle Agile PLM deployments.
  18. Maintain accurate documentation for all custom developments, integrations, and scripts.
  19. Develop deployment guides for moving code from Dev to QA to Production.
  20. Keep version control of all custom artifacts.
  21. Refactor or rebuild incompatible PXs and web services.
  22. Support regression testing for technical components.
  23. Tomcat server application development is also an integral part of this role.
