Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Expert to join our team at Getronics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design, implementation, and ongoing management of mainly Cisco environment, including LAN, WAN, and Wireless Environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the design, implementation, and ongoing management of mainly Cisco environment, including LAN, WAN, and Wireless Environments.
  • Coordinate with networking vendors to ensure appropriate platform integration and performance.
  • Make recommendations to senior management on new technologies and products for enhancement of the network.
  • Lead and participate in the installation of Network systems and equipment for new facilities and expansions.
  • Test, debug, and analyze performance, and document infrastructure components.
  • Develop Network infrastructure installation procedures to ensure successful integration of systems hardware/software.
  • Develop and recommend technical strategies and solutions to maintain and/or expand service levels.
  • Monitor and analyze network and provide results on a regular basis.
  • Takes corrective action to improve data network.
  • Respond to emergency situations and can perform effectively troubleshooting during production outages.
  • Assist in guiding, training, instructing, and assisting others at peer or lower levels on technical issues and products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9 years relevant experience in Wireless (Cisco, Meraki, and or Aruba) and Cisco ISE and or Prime is a must.
  • Hands-on experience working in an ITIL-structured organization dealing with Incident / Change / Problem management.
  • Hands-on experience in handling any of the major IT infrastructure vendors products such as F5, Fortinet, PaloAlto as an added advantage.
  • Expert with implementing and supporting routing protocols.
  • Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzers.
  • Configuring network & security devices with end-to-end security in mind.
  • Configuring end to end Quality of Service.
  • Troubleshoot using traffic analyzers, NetFlow collector, capacity management tools.
  • Understand to interpret wireless (WIFI) site survey reports.
  • Execute/tune wireless (WIFI) radio management.
  • Incident Report Document writing.
  • Documentation (MS Word) & drawing (MS Visio ) updates.
  • Participating in Team & Customer meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCIE/CWNA/CCNP Wireless/Aruba Wireless/Meraki Wireless is preferred.
  • Cisco CCNP/CCIE R&S / Security.
  • Palo Alto (PCNSA/PCNSE).
  • Merkai Certified Meraki Network Operator.
  • Awareness ITIL V3 framework.
