Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Recognition Manager to lead our finance team in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely recognition of revenue under US GAAP (ASC 606).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the End-to-End Revenue Recognition Process: Ensure compliance with US GAAP (ASC 606) and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze Customer Contracts: Determine proper revenue recognition treatment and ensure accurate data flow.
  • Prepare Revenue-Related Documents: Journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Ensure Timely Collections: Follow up with customers for prompt payments.
  • Support Internal Controls: Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls over revenue recognition processes.
  • Collaborate on Process Improvement: Automate revenue reporting and reconciliation, and assist other parts of Finance when required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in revenue recognition or technical accounting.
  • US GAAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 606.
  • Software Experience: QuickBooks, ZOHO Books, XERO, etc. preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
