Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver therapies and services for disabled children and young adults in the comfort of their own homes.

The role involves partnering with skilled professionals to design and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs.

As a freelance Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with families to identify their goals and priorities, and develop strategies to support their loved ones' daily living skills, motor functions, and sensory experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct 1:1 occupational therapy sessions at client's homes
  • Assess clients' functional needs and develop personalized therapy goals
  • Create engaging activities to support motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Maintain session records and share progress updates with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in clients' care
  • Communicate respectfully with families and provide them with support and guidance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (AIOTA certification required)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with disabilities (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in home environments
