Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance

The primary objective of this role is to assume full ownership and responsibility for end-to-end finance and accounting operations. Key areas of focus include financial accounting, taxation, MIS reporting, investor relations, and financial controls.

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting:
    • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closures, as well as preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Implement internal financial controls and optimize financial processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Taxation & Compliance:
    • Coordinate with external firms for tax planning, filing, and audits, ensuring timely compliance with all statutory requirements.
    • Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business, making necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
  • MIS & Business Reporting:
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly MIS reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Variance Analysis, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
    • Support management by providing critical financial information and recommendations for informed strategic decisions.
  • Investor Relations:
    • Support investor reporting requirements, including preparation of financial data and performance summaries, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
    • Respond to investor queries in a timely manner, fostering strong relationships and maintaining credibility.
  • Financial Controls & Processes:
    • Establish and monitor effective financial controls, including budgeting, expense management, and financial planning, to ensure seamless operations.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:
  • Education & Experience:
    • Qualified CA/CPA/ICWA/CA Inter with 2-3 years of relevant experience across finance and accounting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
    • Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software, with ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
