Senior Network Security Engineer

The role of a Senior Network Security Engineer is to ensure the security and integrity of clients' networks.

The engineer will play a crucial part in the security operations center, utilizing problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex issues. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating IT security technologies to protect against cyber threats.

  • Ensure infrastructure operations comply with customer-specific SLAs.
  • Identify, assess, and implement solutions to infrastructure and security-related incidents.
  • Lead problem management as an escalation point, performing regular analysis and recommendations for the infrastructure.
  • Design and integrate IT solutions based on service design specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Firewall management: Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls.
  • Centralized management: Experience with firewall management software is preferred.
  • Security policy implementation: Define, enforce, and optimize firewall rules and security policies.
  • Network security architecture: Support the design and implementation of secure network infrastructures.
  • Upgrades and patch management: Perform firmware upgrades, security patching, and version updates for firewalls.

Required qualifications include:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with network and security technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or Computer Science.
  • Professional level certification.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
