Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality engineering drawings and designs for mechanical power transmission products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create, modify, and finalize General Arrangement and manufacturing drawings for various mechanical power transmission products using Solid Works or other CAD tools (2D & 3D) as per customer needs.
  • Perform various calculations using MS Excel and other design tools to identify all components, prepare Bills of Materials, and any other documents necessary for ordering and processing release of drawings, parts, or specifications.
  • Provide CAD and other support as needed for CAD automation projects and perform other activities assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering or final year engineering without any backlog subjects with minimum 65% aggregate throughout academics.
  • Basic mechanical design engineering knowledge in areas like machine design, strength of materials, engineering mechanics, manufacturing, and heat treatment process etc.
  • Hands-on experience in using Microsoft Office applications mainly Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Experience in detailed components and complex assembly design drafting in academic projects is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning, Tolerance (GD&T), and fluency in written and spoken English.
