Senior Product Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical engineer to join our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in supporting current and new product design and development projects for both domestic and international locations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support current and new product design and development projects as required, catering to both domestic and global locations.
  • Achieve the best quality, cost, and delivery outcome on engineering activities, in addition to accurately estimating project engineering hours.
  • Possess strong knowledge in steel structure & mechanical component design.
  • Demonstrate good working knowledge of C programming language.
  • Be capable of preparing 2D & 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD Inventor / CREO.
  • Work with and guide a team of engineers within the company and partner associates.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects by working closely with program/project management.
  • Have a good understanding of engineering concepts and possess strong analytical skills, coupled with good communication skills.
  • Prior experience in global delivery projects is an asset.
  • Travel may be required overseas as needed.

Qualification:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/ Production/ Structural Engineering or equivalent from a reputable institution.
  • A postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
