Estimation Engineer Position

This role is for a remote Estimation Engineer to join our sales team. We are seeking an individual who can evaluate project specifications and provide detailed cost estimates for HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work to understand client needs and objectives.
  • Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies to determine suitable solutions and approaches for integrating control systems with HVAC systems, DDC systems, and PLCs.
  • Ensure engineering design integrity by validating proposed technical solutions align with RFQ stage design.
  • Utilize industry knowledge, past project data, and estimation software tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems.
  • Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure estimation inputs align with final execution strategy and project timelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 3–5 years' experience in automation or HVAC-related estimation.
  • Strong functional skills in Cost estimation, document formatting, proposal drafting, RFQ analysis, and process improvement.
  • Competency areas include Estimation & Costing, Technical Coordination, Proposal Development, Communication, Problem Solving, and Process Optimization.
