Technical Consultant Opportunity

About the Role:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technical Consultant, where you will utilize your expertise in Agile PLM to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement technical solutions that support business processes.
  • Develop and deploy Process Extensions (PXs) using Java for Agile PLM 9.3.6, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Customize workflows, events, and triggers using the Agile SDK, optimizing system performance and efficiency.
  • Perform unit testing and support functional testing, guaranteeing high-quality deliverables.
  • Support data exchange and synchronization across enterprise systems, including SAP, Visual, and Enovia, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Write technical specifications for customizations and integrations, providing clear guidance for stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support for Agile PLM applications, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges.
  • Review and maintain Agile ACS code and SDK-based customizations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Create event scripts and Groovy scripts for workflow automation, streamlining business processes.
  • Customize Agile Web Client UI, enhancing user experience and usability.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements, driving informed decision-making.
  • Recompile and redeploy existing PXs during version upgrades, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
  • Ensure seamless deployment across development, staging, and production environments, maintaining system stability and reliability.
  • Use Agile Import/Export tools, SDK, or direct database staging for bulk data loads or data updates, optimizing data management.
  • Validate migrated data for completeness and integrity, ensuring accurate information.
  • Analyze and resolve application errors related to custom PXs, integrations, or performance issues, delivering prompt solutions.
  • Perform log analysis (WebLogic logs, Agile PLM logs) for root cause investigation, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Optimize PXs, queries, and scripts to minimize execution time, improving system performance.
  • Assist in load testing for large-scale Agile PLM deployments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Maintain documentation for all custom developments, integrations, and scripts, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Create deployment guides for moving code from Dev → QA → Production, ensuring efficient deployment.
  • Keep version control of all custom artifacts, maintaining a record of changes and updates.
  • Refactor or rebuild incompatible PXs and web services, adapting to changing business needs.
  • Support regression testing for technical components, verifying system functionality.
  • Develop Tomcat server applications, leveraging expertise in Java and Agile PLM.
