Accounting Manager Job Description

 

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to fill this role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in applying Ind AS/ IFRS accounting principles and a strong understanding of US GAAP.

The successful applicant will support the technical accounting team in setting up policies and procedures aligned with accounting standards, maintain accounting policies and manuals across the organization, and assist in monthly/periodic book closure activities focused on group reporting.

Additionally, the Accounting Manager will work closely with investor's accounting teams on concluding accounting positions, periodic reporting, and follow-through.

 

About the Role:

This is a key position within our organization that requires a high level of financial expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical accounting team in setting up policies and procedures aligned with accounting standards.
  • Maintain accounting policies and manuals across the organization.
  • Assist in monthly/periodic book closure activities focused on group reporting.
  • Work closely with investor's accounting teams on concluding accounting positions, periodic reporting, and follow-through.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have hands-on experience in applying Ind AS/ IFRS accounting principles and a strong understanding of US GAAP.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
