Job Overview:
This role is responsible for managing a team of revenue management professionals and overseeing revenue management strategies for a portfolio of clients in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 8-12 revenue management professionals.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of 20 clients through regular performance discussions.
- Revenue Management: Apply advanced principles of revenue management to optimize pricing and inventory for clients.
- Process Development: Establish and refine processes for revenue management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- KPI Management: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
- Strategy Development: Identify market changes, competitive landscapes, and travel trends, adjusting and adapting revenue management strategies for clients.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in revenue management within the travel industry.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in managing teams and client relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of revenue management principles and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
