Strategic Policy Role

This high-impact position demands creativity, analytical rigor, and a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks to drive impactful change.

  • Develop policy positions: Telecom, broadcasting, financial services, entertainment, and digital ecosystems. Utilize expertise in these sectors to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Track competition and trends: Provide timely updates to support policy advocacy efforts.
  • Prepare briefing notes: Presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Regulatory team, Legal, Compliance, Product, Network, Ops, etc. Ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities.

Key Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Strong policy, legal, and regulatory acumen in telecom and digital industries.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to create compelling arguments in both technical and non-technical language.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Lateral thinker with a problem-solving mindset and intellectual creativity.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management across policymakers, regulators, and cross-functional business teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 2–3 years of experience in policy, research, or a related strategic function, preferably in telecom, digital, or technology-driven sectors.
  • Strong understanding of India's telecom, digital, and data policy landscape; international exposure will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
