Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Auditor to fill this challenging role.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Demonstrate expertise in Schellman Methodology, including knowledge of SOC 1 and SOC 2 guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for associates and peers in auditing projects.
  • Obtain relevant certifications, such as ISO LA, CISA, CISSP, AWS CCP, etc.
  • Successfully manage a project from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Understand and demonstrate ability to discuss Schellman's service lines at a high level and their leaders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency of SOC 1 General IT Controls (GITCs) and each Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy SOC 2 criterion.
  • Review and apply concepts of AS 2.0 Reference Guide and 'EWP WP Guidance'.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Escalate issues internally in a proper and timely manner, maintaining discretion and decorum.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management, technology, or other relevant subject area, or equivalent years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • At least 2+ years of related professional services experience in information security auditing, assessment, consulting, or compliance, focused on ITGC or SOC controls.
  • Ability to work well independently, within a team, and with clients, as well as travel approximately 40-50% of the time.
Additional Considerations:
  • Maintains (preferred) or working towards obtaining at least one certification relevant to Schellman's services (i.e., CPA, CCSK, or CISA).
