Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems that empower cross-functional teams through reliable backend services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Shape the technical direction supporting our Product vision, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Build and maintain core services for Product Catalogue, user Profiles, and Asset Management.
  • Design and develop robust, well-documented APIs for internal and external use.
  • Ensure reproducible builds, provisioning, deployment, and releases by leveraging modern techniques such as Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
  • Implement strong observability practices, including comprehensive metrics collection, structured logging, and proactive alerting.
  • Maintain security compliance and data protection across all systems.
  • Lead technical proposals through RFCs and contribute to Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to align engineering efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with scalable backend development using modern programming languages and open-source frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, database management, and microservices architecture.
  • Expertise in API design, development, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, automation tools, and version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
