Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). They should possess strong knowledge of AWS architecture, security, and scalability. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the overall architecture of cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Design and development of scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust AWS solutions.
  • Implementation of AWS monitoring systems.
  • Implementation of security measures to safeguard AWS environments.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
  • Development of strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security.
  • Response to systems alerts, investigation, and resolution of system failures, and recovery/restoration of failed systems and applications.
  • Conducting regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs for team members.
  • Mentorship of other team members in all facets listed above.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 7 to 9 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM.
  • Experience with repository management (Git).
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation).
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience.
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure.
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services.
  • Experience with CloudTrail and CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels of the organization.
  • Process and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
  • Scripting capability and ability to develop scripted AWS infrastructure.
  • General understanding of multi-region and hybrid cloud architectures.
