Job Title:

Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions.

  • Lead the design process and offer thought leadership and engineering expertise.
  • Support the implementation of cloud-based solutions throughout the organization and serve as a cloud advocate.
  • Offer continuous technical support to cloud-based solutions end-users and stakeholders.
  • Monitor the performance of cloud applications and solutions and analyze opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity protocols throughout design process and collaborate with cybersecurity and software engineering teams.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure development and architecture.
  • Experience developing and implementing cloud adoption plans and cloud application design.
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Working experience with cyber security, cyber security coursework, experience or certifications.
  • Experience with infrastructure architecture, cloud-applications to infrastructure.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Experience in the following:
  • CI/CD Tooling, Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Chaos Engineering Tooling, RedHat, Linux, Windows, VPC, Firewalls, IAM, Encryption,
  • Proficiency with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or DataDog. Setting up multi-cloud monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Cost management: Optimizing Cloud spend using tools like Apptio, AWS Cost Explorer, or azure cost management.
  • Proficiency in languages like Python, Go, Terraform for automation and tooling, Familiarity with Cloud SDKs and APIs.
  • Infrastructure as Code IaC, Containerization (OpenShift, EKS, AKS).
