Job Title:

Backend Software Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development squad, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure enterprise-level web applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java Spring framework, along with expertise in Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring JDBC, and Thymeleaf.

You will also need to possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire application stack.

Apart from technical skills, we value collaboration, communication, and adaptability as essential qualities in our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop: Enterprise-level web applications using Spring MVC and related Spring modules.
  • Implement Secure APIs: Using Spring Security, Spring JDBC, and Thymeleaf templates for server-side rendering.
  • Data Access Layers: Integrating with Elasticsearch using queries and aggregations; design dashboards with Kibana.
  • Develop Event-Driven Applications: Using Spring Kafka.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Participate in code reviews, ensure best practices in performance, security, and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Java (Core + OOP principles), solid expertise in Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring JDBC, and Thymeleaf.
  • Problem-Solving: Experience in design patterns (Singleton, Factory, DAO, Observer, etc.) applied in real projects.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control (Git).
Bonus Points:
  • Microservices Architecture: Exposure to Microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: Experience with Docker / Kubernetes or any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
Education and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
