Backend Software Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred), TypeScript, and GraphQL API design and implementation. They will also possess expertise in PostgreSQL and Azure cloud services, including Container Apps, scaling, and performance tuning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Implement and integrate GraphQL APIs with multiple system integrations.
  • Architect and optimize backend systems on Azure Container Apps for scalability and performance.
  • Work on both monolithic and microservices-based architectures.
  • Develop event-driven, real-time systems with WebSocket connections.
  • Ensure 90-95% unit test coverage for all code developed.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver robust, secure, and enterprise-level solutions.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in backend software engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Azure cloud services.
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Proven background in monolithic and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, real-time processing, and WebSockets.
  • Ability to deliver maintainable code with 90-95% unit test coverage.
