The Chief Risk Officer position is accountable for the risk management operations of the company. Key responsibilities include:
  • Create an integrated risk framework for the entire organization

  • Advise on directing capital to projects based on risk
  • Assist functional managers in obtaining risk mitigation funding

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Establish and enforce risk mitigation policies, procedures, and controls across the organization
  • Develop and maintain a robust risk management and RCSA framework, including risk appetite, tolerance, and limits
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Communicate risk exposure and mitigation strategies effectively to all stakeholders
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address risks within their areas of responsibility
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organization
  • Build and lead a high-performing risk management team and risk awareness initiatives in the organization

Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise risk management. A strong background in risk assessment, risk management, and strategic planning is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
