Dairy Operations Specialist

We are establishing a new dairy processing center in Hyderabad and seeking an experienced Dairy Operations Subject Matter Expert to lead its setup, commissioning, and smooth operation.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of dairy industry operations, plant establishment, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day management of milk procurement, processing, and distribution.
- Provide strategic guidance in setting up the dairy processing center, from design to commissioning.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
- Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in collaboration with technical teams and vendors.
- Establish supply chain and distribution processes for efficient milk and dairy product delivery.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
- Offer expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
- Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
- 10+ years of experience in dairy processing, operations, or plant management.
- Proven track record of establishing or managing dairy processing plants (medium to large scale).
- Strong knowledge of milk procurement systems, processing technologies, quality control, and dairy product lines.
