Job Overview

This position oversees a multi-disciplined engineering team providing order solutions for customer projects with electrical equipment.

  • The role will work closely with NAM Solutions Quotation platform and manufacturing facilities to coordinate quotation work content.
  • The position supports middle office teams and commercial teams to provide world-class solutions and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for people management, including resource planning, hiring, training, goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being.
  • Organize the design activity according to load, project complexity, and required skillset.
  • Manage team capacity and develop versatility in it.
  • Ensure technical quality and service levels are maintained throughout the quotation and engineering lifecycle.
  • Define training according to skill matrix and competencies targets.
  • Ensure compliance with project objectives are maintained within product definition files and quotation and design intent.
  • Continuous improvement of design activities in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure overall customer satisfaction and quality delivery for both internal and external customers.
  • Leads change activities to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction with successful change management.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem resolution skills and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to interact and work effectively with individuals from different cultural backgrounds in remote locations.
  • Ability to think outside the box and creatively.
  • Strong mediation, negotiation, and facilitation skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BE/B.Tech/ in Electrical/EEE Engineering with 10+ years of direct engineering & Quotations experience with ETO equipment and minimum of 3yrs of demonstrated leadership/people management skills.
