Electrical Installation Project Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical installation and commissioning works. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling electrical systems for construction or industrial projects, with proven experience in MEP-focused roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and site staff to effectively execute all electrical works on site.
  • Ensure the team performs assigned responsibilities with a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.
  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of key power infrastructure including transformers, HT/LT panels, DG sets, and substation components.
  • Conduct erection of double-pole structures and transformer substations in accordance with site requirements.
  • Oversee underground and overhead cable laying activities in alignment with approved project drawings while accommodating site-specific conditions.
  • Manage reconductoring and replacement of HT/LT lines, installation of new double pole structures, and erection of spun poles.
  • Inspect and supervise all cable termination and identification work to ensure quality and accuracy across internal and external wiring systems.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between engineering teams, site staff, and management to maintain smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning within construction or industrial environments.
  • M.Tech in Electrical Engineering is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a project execution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, site execution practices, and electrical safety standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks while working closely with cross-functional teams.
