Job Purpose

As a seasoned test engineer, you will apply your foundational testing skills to support the delivery of our software application. Working collaboratively within an agile squad, you will design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated tests with an automation-first mindset.

- Understand and apply testing standards and processes throughout the delivery of the project.

- Demonstrate that the software application meets business and functional requirements and is fit for purpose based on approved quality testing practices.

- Perform a range of work activities with squad members to define, execute, document, and maintain test cases.

- Understand requirements and acceptance criteria, write comprehensive test cases, scenarios, automate tests and create test data.

- Acquire an automation first mindset.

- Design, execute, and maintain UI, API, Mobile Automation scripts.

- Assist the Test Lead with creation of testing artifacts such as test plans, test reports, etc., based on defined scope and deliverables.

- Work collaboratively within the squad and wider delivery teams during the build of new features.

- Log and manage defects identified during test execution and track them to closure in a timely manner, participating in defect triage meetings.

- Source test data required for test execution based on test scenarios/cases identified, working with relevant teams.

- Assist the Test Lead/Sr. Test Lead on estimation of various testing activities.

- Align and execute automation regression testing across various test environments to support release management process and health check of test environments with minimal supervision.

- Execute and maintain API, UI-based test automation packs on ADO CI-CD pipelines with minimal supervision.

- Debug and fix simple scripts based on changed requirements.
