Job Title: Global Tax Strategist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Global Tax Strategist to join our team. As a Global Tax Strategist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on tax planning, withholding responsibilities, and social security contributions to our globally mobile employees.

You will analyze employee compensation and payroll data to accurately calculate tax liabilities and identify potential benefits. Additionally, you will be responsible for the financial management of engagements, including billings, collection, metrics & KPIs tracking, and preparing supporting applications and documentation to optimize employees' tax positions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international tax laws and regulations and be able to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in this field. You will also be responsible for conducting in-depth research on country-specific tax issues and collaborating with Tax SMEs for integrated solutions.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will provide exceptional service and support to clients with employees on business trips, regularly communicating with them to update them on the progress of trip assessments and address any concerns they may have.

You will work closely with internal teams to identify cross-functional issues and develop integrated solutions. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of other service lines within the business and be able to recognize and actively seek out fresh business prospects within the existing client base.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum Degree Required: Chartered Accountant degree/MBA
  • Required Fields of Study: Accounting, Taxation & Related field
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Direct Tax
