Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Tax Controller to support tax compliance, reporting, and planning across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves working on direct, indirect, and federal taxation, ensuring regulatory compliance, assisting with audits, and supporting tax optimization strategies.

  1. Handling GST/VAT, sales tax, and other indirect tax filings
  2. Handling SEZ Compliance and reporting
  3. Assisting in statutory, internal, and tax audits and preparing audit schedules and coordinating with auditors
  4. Monitoring capitalization, depreciation, and asset disposals
  5. Ensuring timely closure of audit queries and implementation of audit recommendations
  6. Assisting in researching and analyzing tax implications of business operations and transactions
  7. Assisting in preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual tax provisions under US GAAP/IFRS/IND As
  8. Maintaining tax records and ensuring timely submission of required filings
  9. Supporting internal and external tax audits by preparing the required documentation
  10. Assisting in managing tax disputes, assessments, and queries from tax authorities
  11. Identifying potential tax risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies
  12. Assisting in ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations across jurisdictions
  13. Monitoring cross-border transactions to ensure alignment with global tax policies
