Job Description:

The Sr. Manager, Security Assurance will lead strategic security initiatives to ensure the integrity of sensitive data.

This key role requires a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and GDPR.

  • Lead and manage security assurance programs to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Oversee and facilitate external audits, collaborating with auditors to provide necessary documentation and responses.
  • Assess and identify gaps in security controls, developing strategies for remediation and improvement.

The successful candidate will drive security initiatives across the organization, ensuring a robust security posture and maintaining compliance with relevant frameworks.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security standards and policies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead security assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Oversee external audits, collaborate with auditors, and provide necessary documentation and responses.
  • Identify gaps in security controls and develop strategies for remediation and improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks and influence organizational security strategy.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security assurance and compliance (HIPAA experience highly preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Security Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including HITRUST CSF, SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, etc.
