Purpose of the Job
  • Finance Business Partner/Controller for Global Functions.
  • Responsible for functional financial processes, Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (B/S) and SOX controls.
  • Simplify and enhance financial processes continuously.
About the JobResponsibilities:
  • Co-develop transformation initiatives with functional strategy.
  • Support Functional Leadership to improve process and achieve excellence.
  • Provide financial reporting to Functional Leadership.
  • Manage business risks and opportunities for financial income.
  • Initiate projects to improve functional performance.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis for business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Functional P&L analysis and B/S accounts.
  • Review and monitor functional cost development.
  • Manage monthly/quarterly/annual financial processes.
  • Monthly actuals vs budget analysis and transformation savings tracking.
  • Work with accounting and finance departments for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Implement and maintain robust SOX and internal controls.
  • Interact with tax team on fiscal matters.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Support improvement of financial processes.
  • Drive standardization, automation, and reporting across functional areas.
  • Implements best practices within the functional control team.
  • Participates in ad hoc improvement projects.
We Believe You Bring:
  • Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant/MBA (Finance) from a reputable institution with relevant experience.
  • 5-8 year experience in financial analyst/controlling functions.
  • Interest in working in chemical manufacturing industry with a global multi-national organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Knowledge of ERP system (SAP preferred), Business Warehouse, PowerBi.
  • Fluent in English verbally and in writing.
  • Flexible and comfortable in a demanding environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and analytical mindset.
