Job Overview:

Relying on technical expertise, the successful candidate will provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and deliver innovative solutions to clients.

This role will be part of a finance team and will report to the Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and experience in budgeting and forecasting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
    • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
    • Liaise with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
    • Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
    • Provide strategic insights and financial modeling to support business decisions.
    • Analyze financial performance and identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Technical Accounting & Advisory:
    • Interpret and implement new accounting standards.
    • Provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
    • Support M&A transactions, due diligence, and integration from an accounting perspective.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Present financial insights to senior leadership and support strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of accounting standards.
  • Hands-on experience in FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
  • Experience working with cloud-based accounting systems.
