Patent Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Patent Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Intellectual Property department, you will be responsible for drafting high-quality patent applications and leading prosecution projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft high-quality patent applications for inventions in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
  • Lead prosecution projects, including developing response strategies for office actions and crafting comprehensive responses.
  • Create well-structured provisional specifications and complete patent applications with robust claim sets that meet US and European Patent standards.
  • Mentor team members and interns on technical areas, providing guidance and direction on drafting and prosecution work.
  • Apply process knowledge to achieve consistent results in assigned tasks, utilizing available tools to analyze and solve problems.
  • Participate in the hiring process, preparing test materials and evaluating candidates.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or technology from a reputable institution.
  • Deep domain expertise in ICT, with excellent knowledge of Information and Communication Technologies.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution, with at least two years of experience in drafting patents for the US jurisdiction.
