Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Intellectual Property (IP) Specialist.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support Product Development: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to provide timely IP inputs, ensuring a smooth product launch.
  • Patent Insights: Offer patent litigation and opposition insights aligned with product strategy in a cost-effective manner.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence of products to inform stakeholders about key patent rights and identify acquisition or early launch potential.
  • New Product Opportunities: Identify new product opportunities for driving portfolio selection and evaluate innovative ideas for patent protection/development.
  • Patent Search: Conduct patent search to determine patentable inventions and file/prosecute patent applications to augment/bolster patent estate.
  • Lead Due Diligence Activity: Lead due diligence activity for products of interest to apprise stakeholders about the value proposition in acquiring/licensing/ the product from IP standpoint for M&A deals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)/ Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law.
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) with 8 years of relevant experience/ Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) with 6 years of relevant experience preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law.
Desirable Skills
  • Relevant techno-legal experience with respect to regulated markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of Patent laws of India, US and Europe.
  • An eye for detail and acumen for Paragraph IV filings in USA.
