Chief Data Strategist

Design, implement and maintain large-scale data architectures on Microsoft’s cloud-based platform.
This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, data storage solutions and data processing technologies. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable, secure and reliable data pipelines using Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse Analytics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data ingestion, processing and storage.
- Implement data governance, security and compliance measures to safeguard sensitive information and adhere to industry standards.
- Maintain and optimize existing data architectures to improve performance, reduce costs and enhance user experience.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure Cloud services.
- Proven track record of designing, deploying and managing large-scale data systems.
- Excellent knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics and Azure Storage.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security and compliance principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
