We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Frontend Developer.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who can design and develop high-quality user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows.

The primary focus of this role will be on creating modular and reusable components that ensure the best possible performance and user experience.

  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  • Build reusable components and libraries for future use
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards are maintained
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in front-end development
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and in production environments
  • Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Mentor and assist junior developers when necessary
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in React.js development
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • A thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or MobX)
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Babel, Webpack, NPM)
  • Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • A solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:

  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile development
  • A proven track record of delivering public-facing websites (please share portfolio/examples)
  • Implement smooth, engaging animations and interactions using libraries like GSAP, Framer Motion, or WebGL (a plus)
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
