Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure timely and accurate closure.
  • Ensure accuracy in accounting records, ledgers, and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor working capital and cash flow to ensure financial stability and support business growth.
  • Develop MIS reports and financial dashboards to facilitate management decision-making.
Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act to minimize risks.
  • Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits to ensure timely closure and zero non-compliance.
  • Oversee transfer pricing and international taxation related to pharma exports to optimize revenue streams.
  • Implement internal controls and financial discipline to ensure alignment with company policies.
Operational Finance
  • Manage accounts payable, receivables, vendor management, and credit control to ensure smooth cash flow.
  • Ensure accurate costing, inventory accounting, and margin analysis to inform pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
  • Lead payroll management and employee-related financial compliances to ensure seamless operations.
Strategic Finance & Leadership
  • Act as a financial advisor to senior leadership on growth, investments, and risk management to drive business outcomes.
  • Drive ERP implementation and automation of finance processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Mentor and lead the finance & accounts team to foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Support M&A activities, due diligence, and investor reporting as required.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA) mandatory; MBA Finance preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 4–5 years in a managerial capacity within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS), Companies Act, and pharma industry financial regulations.
  • Proven experience in audits, taxation, costing, and international finance operations to demonstrate expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and advanced Excel/Power BI reporting to drive business insights.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to excel in this role.
