Medical Writer Job Description

This role combines medical science and writing to create a unique opportunity for growth and impact. As a medical writer, you will develop high-quality scientific materials for clients, including slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and more.

You will work closely with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate effectively.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing High-Quality Scientific Materials: Writing, proofreading, and data-checking scientific materials to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Liaising with Clients and Stakeholders: Communicating with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Maintaining Current Awareness: Staying up-to-date with developments across therapeutic areas or disciplines to provide informed content.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in scientific writing.
  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology) or equivalent qualification.
  • Clear, concise writing style with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different materials and audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics and literature reviewing.
