Job Title: Medical Content Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the creation, review, and editing of medical content for publication or regulatory submission. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Editing and proofreading medical manuscripts, scientific slide decks, journal articles, regulatory documents, and educational materials for scientific accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency.
  • Checking language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and maintaining consistency of language (tense) and adherence to brand style/client guidelines.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, publication standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Ensuring correctness of font and symbols, text and image clarity/visibility, and maintaining Aesthetics (alignment, layout, consistency) of the deliverable.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacy (B.Sc./M.Sc./MBBS) or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical and/or scientific editing within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written).
