Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts

 

This role is a key part of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) team, responsible for financial management and accounting functions.

  • Verify and account for bank payment entries in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by ensuring accuracy and completeness.

 

  • Prepare bank NEFT letters and obtain signatures from authorized persons for payments to ensure timely disbursement.
  • Verify and account for cash payment entries in ERP system to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare fund requirement statements as per requirements and obtain signatures from authorized persons for fund requests to meet operational needs.
  • Reconcile students' refunds and vehicle loan EMI payments to prevent discrepancies.
  • Process Provident Fund (PF), Employees' State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax, and TDS payments to ensure compliance with regulations.

 

This role involves working closely with various departments to provide information for TDS returns filling, collect provisional and final investment declarations for income tax, and submit employee form 16 submissions.

 

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Close monthly journal entries and other accounting entries to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Update and maintain dashboard for university overhead income, professional development fund, etc., to track performance indicators.
  • Provide data, bills, and other information for necessary agencies as per templates.

 

What You Will Need:

  • Education: CA Inter, ICMA Inter
