Insurance Risk Manager Opportunity

Our company is seeking an experienced professional to fill a key leadership position in the insurance industry. This role involves overseeing underwriting and placements for assigned corporate clients, preparing requests for quotation, and arranging coverage from various insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send requests for quotation to various insurance companies to obtain competitive pricing and coverage options.
  • Place policies and provide post-placement servicing, including claims handling and management of customer interactions.
  • Manage employee changes on non-electronic business policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain reports required by government agencies.
  • Review and scrutinize claims to ensure timely and fair resolution.
  • Provide exceptional service to corporate clients, including claims handling and enrollment support.
  • Coordinate team member agendas and prepare high-level notes and actions.

Requirements:

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in any field is preferred, although relevant experience can be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
  • Additional qualifications in insurance would be beneficial in this role.
  • Strong product knowledge across property, fire, and engineering products is essential for success.
  • Ability to work independently and engage effectively with corporate executives is crucial.
