Price Optimization Specialist

The goal of this role is to develop, model, communicate and track the performance of new initiatives related to Pricing.

">

We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong understanding of data analytics who can assist senior pricing analysts and pricing managers in developing scalable retail test processes and frameworks.

">

The ideal candidate will have experience in statistical concepts/modeling, process improvement/automation, and data mining and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL (ETL).

This role involves leveraging item role designation models in support of Role of Category and Intent objectives to develop insights, analyzing competitor demographics & performance for pricing across key categories, and ad hoc reporting and analysis for Pricing team.

A Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or any other Quantitative discipline is required, along with 3-6 years of relevant experience.

  • Develop strategic price test development, data-driven price change recommendation & measurement.

  • Support senior pricing analysts and pricing managers in developing, modeling, communicating, and tracking performance of new initiatives related to Pricing.

  • Design and develops processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.

    ">">

  • Analyze Competitor demographics & performance for pricing across key categories.

    ">">

  • Ad Hoc reporting and analysis for Pricing team.

    ">">

  • Develop executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to effect a new decision related to Pricing.

Qualifications:

  • ">

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or any other Quantitative discipline.

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources.

  • Experience in Data mining and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, GCP, and SQL (ETL).

  • Story building with data – Presentations that depict results in a way that can be shared across levels & actionable insights.

  • Experience in statistical concepts/modeling.
