Senior Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary:

This leadership position involves overseeing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX.

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and prepare month-end journals/reclassifications to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, sub-ledger to ledger, and eliminate ageing items/exposure to minimize financial risks.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver exceptional service and strengthen controls to maintain business continuity.
  • Analyze accounts and understand activities/transactions to make informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead financial operations teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  2. Manage client expectations on key deliverables and provide timely updates on project progress.
  3. Ensure compliance to policy/procedure and provide explanations for movements in intercompany balances to build trust with stakeholders.
  4. Support onshore manager and assistant management accountants in up-skilling and coaching to enhance team performance.
  5. Develop and update training curriculum and provide feedback on training programs to improve employee development.
