Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a QA Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications and websites.\
\Key Responsibilities:
\
  • \
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software applications and websites.\
  • Identify, document, and report bugs and other quality issues in a timely manner.\
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.\
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.\
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in QA methodologies.\
  • Responsible for implementing QA processes from the start of the project (requirements analysis, test design, implementation, execution, maintenance, and analysis).\
  • Support the QA Team in Proof of Concepts (POCs) around various tools and technology.\
  • Responsible for collaborating with QA Teams for the development and enhancement of their professional skills.\

  • Develop automated testing scripts using programming languages such as Python or Java.\
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.\
  • Develop and maintain test data to support the development of new features and applications.\
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives.\
  • Develop and implement metrics and dashboards to measure and track quality performance.\

Requirements:

  • \
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\
  • At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on software application and website testing.\
  • Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches.\
  • Excellent knowledge of UI/UX Testing principles.\
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.\
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.\
  • Good documentation skills.\

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or Appium.\
  • Knowledge of Performance and Security Testing principles.\
  • Hands-on experience in Accessibility Testing.\
  • ISTQB Certification or other equivalent testing certifications.\
