Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our testing efforts in data validation and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills combined with leadership qualities to guide junior engineers, ensure best practices, and deliver high-quality data solutions.

  • Lead testing efforts for ETL processes, Data Warehousing, and Data Migrations with a focus on Snowflake
  • Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data validation and quality assurance
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation between source and target systems
  • Design data quality frameworks for our Snowflake environment
  • Validate data completeness, transformations, and workflows
  • Perform row-level and aggregated data validations across datasets
  • Support data governance, auditing, and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with analysts, data engineers, and developers to ensure requirements are translated into effective testing scenarios
  • Identify data quality issues, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Drive automation in ETL and DWH testing where feasible
  • Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance and security are met
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical direction and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies

  • Strong expertise in Snowflake, ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Migration testing
  • Hands-on experience with data validation and quality assurance
  • Ability to lead testing efforts and drive automation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with junior engineers and guiding them to success
