**About the Job Role and Responsibilities:**

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic organization. As a key member of our financial analysis department, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing historical financial statements using MS-Excel.

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and financial ratios to assess the financial performance of public and private companies.

You will also be expected to identify key KPIs, emerging trends, relevant industry updates, competitive environments, associate risks, and relevant valuation metrics to provide an overview and conclude investment theses on companies under coverage.

Additionally, you will need to have a detailed understanding of financial projections based on financial statements, management briefings, company budgets, and estimates. This will include normalizing financial statements, creating various scenarios such as management cases, sponsor cases, upside, and downside cases, etc.

The successful candidate will also be able to prepare liquidation-based recovery analyses for various debt pieces using recovery values for each asset type.

Further, you will be responsible for conducting extensive company valuations involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVA.

**Your Key Responsibilities:*

  • Prepare company profiles, analytical reports/decks, earning and flash notes, quarterly updates, coverage, sector, and theme-based reports, newsletters, technology primers, etc.
  • Handle ad hoc research requests and support other team members.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

  • CA/CFA cleared with 4–6 years of experience in financial modeling, LBO models, DCF/relative valuations.
  • Ability to identify and solve issues effectively and within deadlines.
  • Strong accounting, financial analysis skills, and English writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
