We are seeking a highly organized Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the bank's adherence to regulatory requirements and risk management practices.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in risk management, business controls, quality assurance, or a related field. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role
  • Participate in research, assessment, and documentation of matters relating to policy and regulatory adherence, risk mitigation, or control efforts;
  • Conduct assessments and analysis of basic business or operational outcomes, systems of record, technical assignments, documentation, procedures, or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives;
  • Presentation of concise and well-articulated findings and recommendations, including rationale, to facilitate resolution of identified matters;
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education;
Desired Qualifications
  • Responsibility for ensuring the periodic certification of certified, licensed, and registered employees, including providing documentation in a timely manner;
  • Execution of key controls related to the management and maintenance of licensed and registered individuals under International Accountability regimes;
  • Contribution to compliance with International Accountability regimes;
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure procedural documentation and requirements are met and remain up-to-date;
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform reconciliations of certified, licensed, and registered employees to ensure accuracy and up-to-dateness across internal and external registers;
  • Track end-to-end processes for regulatory applications and notifications;
  • Ensure relevant controls are executed to required standards and support risk assessments;
